About Inflowgenics

Bespoke software,
built around your round.

Operations software for UK gritting and grounds maintenance operators. We model the system on your sites, your shifts and your invoice cycle - not the other way around.

Built in St Albans · since 2013

How we work

Bespoke,
not boxed.

Most operations software is a generic shell with your logo bolted on. Ours starts from your round, your shifts, your invoice cycle - and is built up from there.

  1. 01 / WORKSHOP

    Discovery

A day on site. Round-along, depot tour, look at last winter's spreadsheet.

  2. 02 / BESPOKE

    Custom build

We model your sites, your shifts, your invoice rules. Not a config wizard - a build.

  3. 03 / IN-SEASON

    Live alongside

We sit with you through the first frost. Tweak, tune, rewrite. Until it fits.

  4. 04 / FOREVER

    Stay on the line

On-call cover, all winter, picked up by people who built the thing.

November · 04:12

Triggered by the forecast. Audited in-cab. Invoiced by breakfast.

June · 09:42

Same crew, same site, different season.

The long version

13 winters
in.

Software written in the field, refined every November to March, 13 seasons running. The list below is the short version - the full story is several thousand 4 a.m. WhatsApps long.

  1. 2013

    Platform launched

Web admin, driver app API and signed PDF audit reports. Two-way SMS, invoicing and the ops dashboard from day one.

  2. 2014

    GPS tracking

Live tracking of gritting vehicles on Google Maps during active shifts. Routes archived for audit and proof of service.

  3. 2019

    v2 rebuild

Major relaunch on Firebase - instant sync between back office and field. The driver app got a faster, more reliable API.

  4. 2022

    Quoting & weather

Online quoting with signed PDFs. Weather forecasts wired into the platform; reseller and subcontractor invoicing supported.

  5. 2023

    Client portal

Secure client portal - accept quotes, view visit records and manage account details without ringing the office.

  6. 2024

    Self-service & rota

Clients cancel a gritting visit from the portal. Drivers confirm their rota in a structured workflow - fewer missed shifts.

  7. 2025

    Sage integration

Full Sage accounting integration. Branded invoices generate and email to clients automatically - no manual export.

Values

Three things we'll
not budge on.

I

Grounded

We've never raised, never been acquired, never moved. Same number, same county, same people who picked up in 2013.

II

Hands-on

The person who builds your shift logic is the person who picks up the phone at 04:12. No tier-one, tier-two, tier-three.

III

Tools that fit the work

Designed around how British operators actually run a winter - frost runs, salt-bin shifts, the handful of clients you can't ever miss. Not the diagram on a slide.

From here

St Albans,
Hertfordshire.

3 Holywell Hill - 22 minutes from St Pancras, a short walk from the cathedral. The phones get answered here, the code gets written here, the on-call gets covered from here.

AL1 1ER Same county since 2013

St Albans Cathedral, viewed from the south-east St Albans city flag - yellow saltire on a deep blue field

See it run on your own postcodes.

30-minute demo, no slides. We'll pull tonight's forecast against your sites, show a shift generate live, and walk through the invoicing on the other end.

A British company. Built for British conditions.
